Nike’s Handsome Hiking Sneaker Makes Going Off-Grid Look Good
If you’re going to commit to a proper hike this season, you might as well look the part. And by “look the part,” I mean wearing a pair of trail shoes that are actually nice enough to make you consider wearing them off the trail, too.
Enter Nike ACG’s Zegama Hike.
In this Light Orewood Brown, Persian Violet, and Cream II colorway, it manages to hit that sweet spot between serious hiking gear and something you’d actually want in your rotation. The earthy brown base gets broken up by flashes of purple, while the chunky shape gives it that suitably outdoorsy look without going full hiking boot.
Of course, it’s not just here for the outfit. The Zegama Hike is built for rugged terrain, with plenty of cushioning underfoot and a grippy Vibram outsole to keep things steady when the path gets a little less forgiving.
But let’s be honest: if you’re only going to hike once or twice before retreating back indoors for the winter, you may as well do it in a pair this good-looking. Wear them with some trail pants and a fleece, or throw them on with loose trousers once you’re back in town.
The ACG Zegama Hike is available on Nike’s website for $190 now.
