Nike's Air Force 1 "Linen" sneaker is back (again) in 2025, but this time, the ultra-clean Forces finally got the makeover they've long deserved.

Yes, the Nike Air Force 1 "Linen" undergoes a true "linen" transformation for 2025, now boasting super crisp canvas uppers in beautiful beige tones. Finally!

Previous pairs featured supple leather uppers, which were admittedly very creamy and delicious on the legendary Nike Air Force 1. But it's about time the "Linen" Forces lived up to its name, albeit with something a bit more sturdy than actual linen. Thank you, Nike.

The canvas versions, now cutely called the Nike Air Force 1 "Linen Linen," preserves the beautiful colorblocking seen on the original sneakers, which released back in 2001 as Japan exclusives.

The Air Force 1 "Linen" most recently returned in 2024, marking the shoe's first big global release in 23 years (Kith also exclusively rereleased the "Linen" Forces at the opening of its Miami store in 2016).

Specifically, Nike brought back the OG "Linen" Air Forces through its Cult Classics program, which is exactly what it sounds like: the sportswear giant reviving some of its most serious sneaker icons.

Beyond the reborn "Linen" Air Force 1s, Nike also recently gave new life to the Air Max 90 "Duck Camo" and even the "Veneer" Dunks. A year later, the "Linen" Forces are back and look more immaculate than ever, and they're now in truly classic company.

Nike's reborn Air Force 1 "Linen Linen" sneakers are slated to drop overseas on March 20 via Nike's website, where they ought to retail for around $115.

However, based on Nike Korea's cryptic messaging, it's possible that the crisp canvas Forces will land elsewhere during the spring season. At least it's the right weather for it.
