Nike's Air Liquid Max sneaker may be on the brand's strangest Air Maxes to date, but it looks mighty clean for its latest drop.

The next "liquified" sneaker lands in a cool "Grey Fog" colorway, which sees pretty much the entire model covered in light grey. Nike has, however, iced out the signature soles, which remain highly cushioned and fluid as ever (they're the reason the model is called the Liquid).

Nike released the Air Liquid Max sneaker earlier this year in all-black and neon green colorways, plus a Fragment collab. For the most part, the model has appeared in dark colorways with some splashes of color, schemes which only elevate its strangely intriguing personality, like the poisonous frogs that inspired it.

Now, we're seeing Nike switch things up a little with these clean "Grey Fog" pairs.

Speaking of which, the Nike Air Liquid Max sneakers are scheduled to drop on the brand's website on September 4 for $220.
