I hope you can stand the heat, sneakerheads. 'Cause Nike just unleashed its most fire Air Max 90 sneaker ever, named "Volcano" at that.

The Nike Air Max 90 "Volcano" lives up to its name, boasting this incredibly cool black textured upper echoing the vibes of fertile volcanic soil.

There's also this ash-like detailing sprinkled on the shoe's bright orange Swoosh and heel tab, almost like lava dripping over these signature Air Max 90 features.

Nike turns up the heat even further on the Air Max 90 "Volcano," leaning into the model's spicy name by throwing in some graphic insoles featuring lava cracks.

Over the years, Nike has created some seriously good one-off Nike Air Max 90 colorways like the "Bacon" sneakers, the iconic "Infrared" pairs, and the "Duck Camo" versions. These special editions all upped the Air Max's appeal with thoughtful makes that leaned hard into their thematic inspirations.

The beloved Nike shoe pumped up on Air has even enjoyed hyped spins by streetwear tastemakers like Undefeated and Virgil Abloh's Off-White™ imprint, though those are even rarer than the aforementioned limited editions.

I basically say all this to say that the classic Nike Air Max 90 really doesn't miss. And the excellent detailing and immaculate colors on the "Volcano" Air Max 90 might've just won first place for best Air Max 90 yet, or at least in recent memory.

For the Air lovers wondering, the newest Nike Air Max 90 has already erupted. The sneakers recently landed in Japan, dropping exclusively at stores like ABC-MART.

But don't worry, the rest of the world is expected to feel the heat in February when this fiery Air Max sneaker gets a bigger release via Nike's website and stores.
