Nike's Newest Air Max Outdoor Boot Is the Tuff-est Yet
Nike's Air Max Goadome boot just got a whole lot tougher, thanks to the newest TecTuff upgrade.
Putting TecTuff on the ACG model is like giving it extra armor, one that's not only resistant to wear but also to water and other liquids. You'll often find this high-performance material on outdoor models (Moncler uses it for its Trailgrip shoes, and Converse has previously used TecTuff on Chuck Taylors).
Combine TecTuff's powers with the Goadome's usual durable touches — like the lugged Air-cushioned soles and generally sturdy uppers — and it's like the ultimate Air Max work-slash-winter boot.
Even better, it lands in a classic black colorway, making it perfect for rotating during the colder seasons.
It's looking like another good season for the Air Max Goadome, which has appeared in stylish croc-skin low-top options as well as new general-release schemes. Now, Nike's making it even more rugged with TecTuff.
A GORE-TEX version next, please.
Speaking of which, the Air Max Goadome TecTuff boots are now available on Sneakersnstuff's website for $200. But I'd act fast; they're selling out fast at other stores.
