Nike's Air Max Joga Bonito is back and looking, well, muy bonito in its new look.

The first two drops featured sleeker designs paired with classic color schemes such as "Neon" and "Varsity Royal." But this new pair takes a new textural design route.

It's hard to tell what's happening with the new "Black/University Red" pairs, but whatever it is, it works.

Essentially, the Air Max Joga Bonito sneaker features dark, velvety-textured underlays, sheer paneling, and other sheeny touches. Nike has also sprinkled in some hot red accents, mostly highlighting the Air soles and branding moments.

Of course, it's still an Air Max 95 soccer sneaker hybrid at heart. Fans can count on the Mercurial-style upper plus the Air Max's famously chunky soles. It's just experimenting with a new plush-looking outfit.
