The Air Max DN was already a lot of shoe. And then Nike went and put a zip on it.

Not a gimmick zip, mind you. A full water-repellent shroud that closes right over the laces, sealing the DN Roam's whole upper shut like it's preparing for the heaven’s to open up.

It looks slightly unhinged, it keeps the rain out, and once you've seen it, every other sneaker suddenly feels wildly underdressed. Which, for a shoe with a zip on it, is genuinely impressive.

A rubber toe cap and Storm Tread outsole keep things practical. The Dynamic Air soles are still here, too, all bouncy and techy and doing exactly what made the original DN worth the hype.

The black and metallic colorway really enhances the already striking design, monochromatic, bold, and everything, reflective branding that catches light just enough, and the kind of energy that makes a rain-soaked commute feel intentional.
