Editor's Notes: Nike is revisiting the Air Griffey Max 1's OG "Freshwater" colorway after reviving Ken Griffey Jr.'s sneaker back in 2016 to celebrate the iconic player's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Of course, there's already a huge amount of buzz surrounding the 2021 release, which will mark the shoe'ss 25th anniversary. The chunky, predominantly black and white silhouette has immediately sold out every time it’s been reissued since its 1996 debut.

While there's no official release date as yet,  expect the "Freshwater" Nike Air Griffey Max 1 to release sometime in early 2021 and keep it here for updates.
