Rapha

Prior to the commencement of this year’s Grand Départ Tour de France in Copenhagen, a bubble of excitement surrounded the vibrant pink team bus of EF Education–EasyPost.

While one might presume the crowds surrounding the bus were there to get a glimpse of some of the best cyclists on the planet (many probably were), many were there to bear witness to the unofficial unveiling of Palace’s latest collaboration with Rapha – well I was, at least.

After revealing an on-bike collection that’s being worn by EF Education–EasyPostduring during this year’s Tour, Palace and Rapha hinted that an off-bike collection would follow soon after. Alas, here it is.

Accompanying the initial offering of jerseys, bib shorts, and even a co-branded Cannondale frame, the off-bike collection – which features short and long-sleeved tees, hoodies, cropped tees, and a myriad of technical pieces like utility vests, zip-off trousers, and skirts – is slated to be dropping online later this week.

The highlight of the collaboration sees Palace reunite with Crocs for a zany take of its archetypal Clogs, which come dressed in wavy shades of blue and pink and equipped with Rapha and Palace Jibbits.

This year’s collaboration hasn’t ruffled feathers quite like it did at Giro d’Italia 2020, but it certainly raised eyebrows across the paddock, with Team Jumbo-Visma’s Rembrandt, Vermeer, and van Gogh-inspired kit doing similar.

Whether you’re looking for a recovery shoe, something to wear to the corner shop to get a big Lucozade on a Sunday morning, or the perfect house shoe, Palace x Rapha Crocs are certainly the ones.
