What We’re Saying: adidas Originals and Pharrell have just unveiled the latest chapter in their ongoing partnership: a monochromatic orange Hu NMD. Pharrell’s signature sneaker, which combines a fully Primeknit upper with a chunky Boost midsole, has dropped in a number of monochromatic colorways recently.

Each pair has featured the words “human race” in different languages from around the world on the forefoot. This specific pair features the words in Xhosa, which is a Nguni Bantu language and one of the official languages of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

This latest orange colorway is a great summer color, as just looking at it invokes the feeling of jumping over fences and running through a stranger’s garden in Italy, in order to pluck a fresh orange off of their tree before enjoying the zesty fruit by the ocean. Okay, I need a holiday.

The adidas Originals by Pharrell Hu NMD “Orange” drops on June 12 via the adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailers. Stay tuned for a list of retailers stocking the product.
