Editor's Notes: When you think of New Balance, what comes to mind? Sports-wise, the brand has become increasingly aligned with football through its growing range of signature boots, including an unexpected collaboration with Stone Island.

In running, its roots run even deeper than football, being one of the sport's most favored brands for hitting marathons and casual runs. It knows its audience, and it executes to perfection.

Within lifestyle, its excellence has been ensured by Teddy Santis' Made in USA efforts, as well as its desirable pairings with size? amongst others.

Now, it's re-establishing its tastes for skateboarding in collaboration with RONE, offering a look at the concept of "sophisticated skateboarding."

Coming to life through a reimagination of the Thiago Lemos 1010, the concept of the collaboration sees the silhouette take on an ultra-wearable palette of white, off-white, and grey that's quintessentially New Balance.

Arguably the best part of the sneaker is the stash pocket that sits within the blue-lined tongue, offering a detail that's engrained in iconic skate shoes.

While the clean palette looks great out of the box, it's almost so good you won't feel inclined to shred them on four wheels.
