Editor’s Notes:

Saucony’s retro Aya runner is the perfect canvas to serve up a dose of summer sweetness, featuring silky suede and smooth leather panels mixed with soft nylon uppers. Saucony designers realized the silhouette is well suited for experimentation given its unisex appeal. “Since re-introducing the Aya last year, we saw it as a model that takes color really well and was being supported from a unisex style standpoint,” explains Jason Faustino, brand marketing manager at Saucony.

“Our designer originally spun a few colors inspired by a Japanese surf art reference. We decided to focus on two colors primarily as I became fixated with this “Peaches & Cream” story, which worked color-wise, but also allowed us to create an aesthetic that evoked a youthful romance that felt fitting for our love for the Aya.”
