ESPN shared a special Kobe Bryant tribute during last night's virtual ESPY Awards. The two-and-a-half-minute clip is narrated by California native and longtime Laker fan, Snoop Dogg, as he raps about the sports icon, who died in a helicopter crash in January.

The video tribute incorporates various scenes from Kobe's illustrious career. We see him going up against legendary opponents such as Michael Jordan, and hoisting trophies for his multiple championships. The piece also spotlights Bryant's family, specifically his daughter, Gigi, who was also killed in the horrific incident earlier this year.

In addition to the Kobe Bryant tribute, the 2020 ESPY Awards dedicated a segment to the Black Lives Matter movement. Athletes Russell Wilson, Megan Rapinoe, and Sue Bird appeared in a five-minute video to call for unity against racial injustice following the murder of George Floyd and countless other Black individuals.

You can watch both the Kobe Bryant tribute and the call for unity below.
