Although the lead up to Super Bowl LIII was not without controversy, the always-anticipated halftime show went smoothly.

Maroon 5 took to an M-shaped stage at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. After getting things started with “Harder to Breathe” and “This Love,” none other than Spongebob Squarepants and Squidward introduced Travis Scott, who entered the stadium in an asteroid for a high-octane performance of his Astroworld hit "SICKO MODE." Later on, Maroon 5 joined in on the song with guitar.

Next up, the band performed "Girls Like You" assisted by a full choir and a drum line ensemble, moving onto their classic love ballad "She Will Be Loved." Maroon 5 also included a local legend in the halftime show, inviting Big Boi to perform OutKast's “The Way You Move.”

“Sugar” and “Moves Like Jagger” closed Maroon 5's Super Bowl LIII halftime show performance, as an impressive amount of fireworks were launched.
