Double Tap to Zoom

Your trekking gear is about to get a serious upgrade. The North Face and Gucci are teaming up for a new collab, as announced via a series of teaser trailers posted to Gucci's Instagram. While details of the collaboration are still scarce, it's safe to bet they'll play on their combined heritage — think maximalist performance; the kind gear you'd look fucking ridiculous climbing a mountain in, but you could if you wanted to.

In the teaser clips, Gucci pitches a flag featuring both logos and classic colorways, accompanied by a literal foghorn sound to usher in what could be the biggest link-up this season. The horn is probably in celebration of Alessandro Michele, as this capsule will mark the Italian brand's first collab under his tenure.

Of course, TNF is no stranger to fashion partnerships — this news comes straight off the back of its jaunt with MM6 Maison Margiela. It's also linked with Junya Wantanabe, Hender Scheme, Brain Dead, Supreme, and Sacai, just to name a few.

Updates to follow. In the meantime, check out all three teaser videos below.
