Travis Scott teased yet another upcoming Nike Air Jordan 1 on his Instagram stories yesterday. The sneaker in question features a wilder print than we’re used to from La Flame and was teased on the eve of his fragment design x Nike Air Jordan 1 Low collaboration dropping.

In addition to an animalistic print across the mudguard around the toes — which seems to be a reference to the iconic Nike Air Carnivore —  the sneaker features a bright red suede toe box and black suede detailing on the quarter panels and eyestays. While the rapper has only given us a look at a fraction of the shoe, our attention has most definitely been captured.

Travis has worked on four Nike Air Jordan 1s thus far (two Highs and two Lows — one of each in collaboration with fragment design) and has developed somewhat of a signature style. His reverse Swoosh, Cactus Jack branding, and stash pocket in the ankle collar are all hallmarks of a Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan drop.

Additionally, his color blocking is usually pretty straightforward and leans heavily on his Cactus Jack aesthetic, preferring earthy tones to bright colors. The fragment design Jordans were a rare departure from that color scheme.

La Flame has teased other Nike projects outside his own collaboration in the past, being spotted in a number of in-house and vintage Nike SB Dunks. Scott also played a big part in teasing the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 in 2019. This could mean that the Nike Air Jordan 1 teased in his stories could merely be an upcoming general release or third-party collaborative pair.

So far, no concrete information is known outside the teaser Travis gave us in his stories. Do you think Travis has gone for a more animalistic aesthetic for his next collab? Or is this another upcoming Nike release? Let us know your thoughts below.

In the meantime, check out the Houston rapper’s latest confirmed teaser — a reverse-Swoosh Nike Air Trainer 1 — and stay tuned dfor any updates.
