More than 20 years after his tragic death, Tupac Shakur is still making the headlines. Steiner Auctions recently announced that the late rapper's series of erotic illustrations and a hand-drawn love letter for his then-girlfriend, Desiree Smith, were sold for $21,000. The items were previously listed for sale last month.

Steiner Auctions states that the rare artwork, love letter, and hand-decorated envelope were all created by Tupac in 1995 when he was incarcerated at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York. The hand-drawing portrays an erotic scene that displays Tupac engaging in sexual intercourse with Smith leaned over on a couch. Tupac also showcases his attention to detail by applying drops of sweat, in addition to a series of hearts to emphasize the passion of their relationship. Furthermore, accompanying the drawing are neatly written words in cursive that reads, "Missing You Deeply" and "forever with love."

While the artwork revealed a more graphic interpretation of Tupac's state of mind during that timeframe, Tupac also provides a more discreet but sweet gesture with his letter by telling Desiree Smith that he loves her, along with a brief message, "Just a Lil Something 2 Get U Hot & Make U Reminisse."

Per TMZ, the auction received 10 bids and was sold to a wealthy man in his 60s for precisely $21,155.75.
