Highsnobiety

Chi Modu is responsible for crafting some of the most iconic images in hip-hop history. From colorful portraits of Notorious B.I.G. to intimate glimpses of Tupac Shakur, his legacy is indelible to the fabric of the culture.

Naturally, his work deserves to be as widely as seen as possible. Modu has been on tour with the exhibition "Uncategorized," an immersive glimpse into his life's work that has taken him from New York to his first proper show in his native Lagos, Nigeria.

Though many of us were not fortunate enough to attend, you can get a firsthand glimpse of the exhibition and its accompanying event produced by BUDX and media platform Melanin Unscripted thanks to a video piece documenting everything that went down. Check out Chi Modu: The Eye of the Golden Era in the player above.
