Last week Vans dropped its latest footwear innovation yet—the ComfyCush Era. ComfyCush is a brand new technology that utilizes comfort-based tech to deliver the plushest ride yet from any Vans sneaker.

To celebrate the release, Vans hosted a massive launch event in Brooklyn, NY that transformed a cavernous Bushwick warehouse space into a makeshift high school experience complete with educational ‘labs’ for attendees to learn more about the Comfy Cush technology.

The best part? All attendees were treated to their very own pair of ComfyCush Eras while legendary Brooklyn-based marching band Soul Tigers brought the funk later in the evening with a set that included band staples like Kanye’s “All of the Lights.”

But the real showstopper came toward the end of the night when a surprise performance by Lil Wayne drew fans into a frenzy. He performed a surprisingly long set with bangers like “Lollilop” and Weezy’s verse from “HYFR.”

Peep everything that went down in the photos and video above, and cop your own pair of the Vans ComfyCush Era now.
