This Ridiculously Elegant Jordan Sneaker Is the New Sheriff in Town
The Jordan Brand is saddling up for its next Bin 23 sneaker, releasing an exquisitely designed Western-themed Air Jordan 4 this time around.
It's all inspired by Michael Jordan's favorite kind of movie — you guessed it — Westerns! And keeping up the "Bin 23" tradition, this Jordan 4 offers a high-end rodeo ride from the box to the soles.
The Air Jordans arrive in an ostrich-textured box, topped with the Bin 23 stamp, which also appears on the shoe's heels. Meanwhile, the sneaker itself feature creamy brown suede uppers, bolo-tie shoelaces, and Western-style graphics on the tongue and red leather hangtag.
Plus, there's a pony-hair cage and a covered Air bubble, making this release the first AJ4 ever to include these details. And don't worry, the famous Nike cushioning technology is still there, just painted over.
Dare I say, it's the best-looking "Bin 23" sneaker since the brand restarted the line. No shade to the leather Jordan 6s and fine-wine-level Jordan 3s. They were cool, but they're no luxe cowboy like the Jordan 4.
Philly got first dibs on the sneaker, which was a great move. The city hosted the famous 8 Seconds Rodeo over the weekend, celebrating Black cowboy and cowgirl culture.
Sounds like the perfect time to drop an extremely fancy Western Jordan sneaker.
It's unknown when the Jordan 4 "Bin 23" sneaker will land on Nike's website. However, expect them to be available in limited quantities: 2,300 pairs, to be exact. Also, have lots of coins ready, because these ultra-premium Jordans won't come cheap.
