Vans not only makes great skate shoes but also makes nice winter slippers. The proof are models like the Harbor Mule VR3 and Mountain Mule.

Today, we're diving into the Mountain Mule, which is basically a cozy insulated slipper with the same level of traction as its baddest winter boot. Seriously, it features the same lugged outsoles as the Standard snow boots (which recently got a stylish low-top remix).

What's more, Vans keeps the Mountain Mule looking quite stylish with luxe material choices. It's certainly worthy of flexing on the next ski trip with the squad.

The latest pairs, in particular, land with hairy cowhide uppers. Between that and the standard cushy leather footbed, it's a rather luxe take on the slip-on.

Previous releases have seen the Vans model dressed in refined leather looks, offered in solid colorways such as olive green, brown, and black. The cowhide is a real moo-d, though.

As we speak, the cow-print Mountain Mule is now available on Vans' website for $100.
