Vans is doing its thing right now. Don't get me wrong, the label's skate shoes, like the Authentic and SK8 His, are longtime icons. But even Vans' newer drops are — as the kids might say — eating, and its stylishly stocky trail shoes are included.

The Vans MTE Crosspath sneakers launched in earlier this summer as the brand's "most progressive all-terrain sneaker yet." They're probably the label's coolest-looking outdoor shoes, too.

True to today's trail sneaker aesthetic, the Vans Crosspath shoe effortlessly blends stylishness with protection from Mother Nature's elements.

Vans describes its Crosspath to be lightweight, waterproof, and ultra cushy, thanks to its breathable, weather-ready uppers and, well, its UltraCush cushioning. Did I mention it has lots of cushioning?

Finally, a graciously beefed-up sole caps off this Vans outdoor shoe, promising plenty of traction for even the roughest ground — plus some trendy chunk. Because why not?

Vans MTE Crosspath debuted in a few solid colorways back in July. The skate shoe label has since added new options to its website, in case any gorp guys and outdoor cosplayers were wondering.

What's more, the Vans shoes comes in mid and low-top options, allowing fans to choose between a classic boot situation and a short king vibe.

After shockingly incredible hybrids and skate-ready Mary Janes (nice hikers, too), Vans keeps on pushing.
