Satoshi Nakamoto's Denim-Dusted Vans Shredder Is Finally OTW
Fans of Satoshi Nakamoto and Vans, we are so back. Again. The sneaker gods clearly have favorites, and fans of the highly coveted bejeweled Nakamoto Vans are among said people.
During Paris Fashion Week, Nakamoto unveiled a new colorway of the Vans Era 95 "Lucky Charms" sneaker.
This time, streetwear maison is putting the iced-out shredder in a pair of distressed blue jeans.
Elsewhere, the shoe wears the same whimsical, bejeweled adornments throughout the upper and friendship bracelet-style lace base as the OG version.
Extreme distressing throughout the shoe matches the yellowed base that gives the shoe its signature fatigued appearance because the most luxe thing a sneaker can be — is lived in.
Case in point? Any number of Vans made in recent history. From the paint-splattered Premium Old Skool 36 Pointer Spreader to the dark and dapper Chanel bag Old Skool 36 LX Vans is at its best when it's tearing up its own canvas for our benefit. Self-destruction at its finest.
In addition to the new denim-doused Vans Era 95 that's set to release in 2027, Nakamoto also unveiled some sick new garments, including a diamante-studded leather moto jacket, a blinged-out dingy T-shirt, and the hottest garb of the season: A layered t-shirt. Nakamoto truly left no studded stone unturned.
