From A Plague's Tale's thrilling story to shooting our way across Rage 2's post-apocalyptic wasteland, it's hard to put down all the games released last month. However, from Super Mario Maker 2 to Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, June is bringing a hot lineup of video games to kick off summer.

Super Mario Maker 2 is the sequel to 2015's Super Mario Maker for the Wii U and features a ton of new tools that will help gamers play, create, and share their favorite side-scrolling Super Mario levels. Create steep or gentle slopes to change up a level, add an angry Sun to follow and attack Mario, or create scorching hot world filled with lava. Nintendo is giving more variety and freedom to players to create their limitless imagination, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. Super Mario Maker 2 is out on Nintendo Switch June 28.

For a more darker tone, The Sinking City is one title to look out for. Developed by Frogwares and published by Bigben Interactive, the game is an upcoming action-adventure mystery horror video game inspired by the works of horror author H.P. Lovecraft. The Sinking City follows private investigator and war veteran Charles W. Reed as he searches for the cause of unrelenting flooding and the terrifying visions in the fictional fishing town of Oakmont, Massachusetts during the 1920s. Its eerie setting is as creepy as it is mysterious. We can't to see how the story unfolds on June 27.

Other notable titles releasing this month include Trover Saves The Universe and Heavy Rain on PC, F1 2019, and Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled on PS4. What games are you hyped to play?
