Virgil Abloh seemingly never sleeps. It's the only thing that can explain his unceasing creations from the realm of fashion to design and music. So this latest collaboration shouldn't really come as a surprise – even if it's our first time seeing glassware from the designer.

For his latest endeavor, Abloh teamed up with luxury crystal brand Baccarat to give his own unique interpretation of the latter's 255 years of savoir-faire. The collaboration was first teased at Abloh's 2020 Art Basel Miami exhibition and now we're finally getting a complete look at the collection.

Mixing heritage and modernity, the "Crystal Clear" collection encompasses vases, a glass with a lid and a straw, and a chandelier  – all rendered entirely in crystal. The pièce de résistance as one would expect is the chandelier but this isn't your regular light fixture. Nothing screams "Virgil x Baccarat" more than the hybrid elegant-industrial piece featuring cylinders of varying sizes linked precariously with chains. Yes, those are crystal chains.

“In any creative endeavor, I am interested in collaborating with the best in class," Abloh shared in a statement. "For me, Baccarat represents the expression of the dynamism of crystal through history and today. The 'Crystal Clear' line of objects is an extension of my art practice, expertly realized by the artisans of Baccarat."

If you want to own a piece of this stunning collaboration, you'll have to dig deep into your pockets. The crystal glass with lid and straw will set you back $500. Meanwhile, the Baccarat website doesn't even list a price for the vases and chandeliers as these are made to order.
