As temperatures continue to drop this winter, Woolrich is linking with Gore-Tex on a number of classic jackets with state-of-the-art technology designed for waterproof, windproof, and breathable warmth. A union between two legendary cold-weather brands, Woolrich's Gore-Tex John Rich & Co. jackets are seasonal essentials that Highsnobiety is highlighting for the freezing weather. Take a look below for some of our team's favorites.

Gore-Tex Arctic Down Parka

An iconic silhouette, Woolrich has updated its Arctic Parka with a Gore-Tex treated shell and fully waterproof zip closures on all of its front pockets. With a button-through storm placket (a flap of fabric to cover the jacket's zipper), a high collar, and a hood lined in fur, the Arctic Parka is a slightly trimmer update on a jacket engineered to hold as much warmth as possible. Drawstrings inside the coat, rib-knit cuffs, and hand-warmer pockets are cold-weather touches that make the coat an absolute go-to for all sub-zero temperatures.

Gore-Tex Mountain Parka

A slightly more minimal take on the fur-trimmed Arctic Parka, Woolrich's down-insulated Mountain Parka offers the same Gore-Tex protection and cold-weather features in a streamlined silhouette. Like the Arctic Parka, the Mountain Parka offers a full storm placket, rib-knit storm cuffs, hand-warmer pockets, and internal drawstrings, but its hood features an exclusive extender for extra drop-down Gore Tex protection.

Gore-Tex Urban Coat

Like the parkas, Woolrich's Gore-Tex Urban Coat offers the same cold-weather-protecting storm plackets, ribbed cuffs, and high collar but in a slightly different construction. Contrasting buttons on the jacket's storm placket add a visual shift to the coat's all-beige look, and its minimal flap-closure pockets place emphasis on the vertical button line down the middle of the jacket. The Urban Coat's back bottom hem also adds a bit of visual flare while providing necessary ease of movement.
