Affordable Dutch eyewear brand Ace & Tate's sleek design streak continues in the brand’s latest collaboration with Berlin-based design studio New Tendency.
Having worked together in the past on store designs, most recently Ace & Tate's new Berlin flagship, they’ve now created a pair of limited edition sunglasses emblematic of a shared appreciation for minimalism. The frame has a classic shape that appears to change when reflecting light and is viewed from different angles, the sharp lines varying between full and thin.
New Tendency, a contemporary furniture and homeware manufacturer, has also worked with Ace & Tate to design a Japanese Bento box-inspired storage device. The box slides comfortably into their white META side table and holds up to six frames, making for a functional piece of modern furniture.
The side table and storage device combination is limited to just 15 pieces. The collaboration launches in Ace & Tate stores and online today.
