Once again, our dedicated #hskicks community delivered another solid selection of outstanding sneaker shots, bringing you the cream of the crop from across Instagram. Each week, we seek out your most creative shots with the difficult task of having to round up only 10. Whether you’re tending to the Ls you caught on the latest drop, searching for the rarest grails the web has to offer, or simply looking to admire the dedication of some fellow sneakerheads, there’s a little something for everyone below.
This week, we were treated to a disruptive selection of kicks, from low-key mainstays to never-before-seen customs. Beginning with the former, the adidas Response Hoverturf took the lead as part of the brand’s latest “Gardening Club” pack. Nike SB‘s Dunk High silhouette in the classic “Michigan” colorway followed suit. New Balance brought its inimitable minimalist touch with the M990 CG4 in “Covert Green” as well as its 577 HANON collab. The YEEZY Boost 700 also made an appearance in “Magnet”.
In addition to this, select #hskicks purveyors got creative and offered up unique takes on well-known silhouettes. First off, the Nike Air Icarus got combined with the Air Max 97‘s recognizable tooling system. In a size? exclusive, the adidas LXCON ’94’s original design got wrapped in a colorway inspired by a ’90s FYW Trail model. And in the ultimate custom flex, the Nike Air Max 180 got a reverse Swoosh, inspired by Travis Scott’s “Cactus Jack” Air Jordan 1.
To get involved yourself, all you have to do is use the #hskicks hashtag on your own Instagram sneaker shots, along with the city you’re in, and of course, the best shot of your chosen pair.
Without further ado, here are 10 of this week’s best Instagram sneaker photos, including a closer look at our feature silhouette, the new adidas Response Hoverturf.
