Key Features: The Aimé Leon Dore x Clarks Wallabee is offered in four exclusive colorways, each handmade in Portugal from responsibly sourced, high quality Italian wool. The usage of Casentino wool on the upper will result in small ringlets that fray off from the fabric's surface, ultimately giving the shoe a distinctive look. The Wallabee also features a premium leather collar and binding, the classic crepe sole, and co-branded fobs.
Release Date: November 20
Buy: In-store and online at Aimé Leon Dore
Editor’s Notes: Aimé Leon Dore has partnered with Clarks to pay homage to the hip-hop history of the Wallabee. The New York-based brand is releasing four new colorways of the iconic silhouette, here debuted by none other than Nas.
Often referred to as hip-hop's most iconic shoe, the Clarks Wallabee was a staple silhouette of '90s music icons such as Wu-Tang Clan and Run-DMC. Because of this, Aimé Leon Dore chose Nas to front the campaign for its Wallabee collaboration, as the Queens rapper truly epitomizes the hip-hop lineage.
The Aimé Leon Dore x Clarks Wallabee releases first at Aimé Leon Dore on November 20, before dropping at select retailers on November 25.
