KICKZ

To celebrate the coinciding 25th anniversaries of KICKZ.COM and the Air Jordan VIII, KICKZ.COM is exclusively releasing the highly sought after Air Jordan VIII "Tinker" colorway three weeks prior to the global launch.

The new Air Jordan VIII Air Raid II "Tinker" colorway is inspired by the Nike Air Raid "Urban Jungle," a ‘90s shoe from legendary Nike footwear designer Tinker Hatfield. "Tinker" has an all-black upper with colorful accents dispersed across the surface and black mesh paneling borrowed directly from the original Air Raid. Additional details include a colorful chenille tongue logo, a green inner lining, yellow hints on the outsole, and the slogan “Live Together” in yellow on the black heel tab.

The Air Jordan VIII is permanently penned into the history books as having released during one of Michael Jordan's most memorable years on the court, 1993. The year saw Jordan complete the first NBA title three-peat since 1966 and win his third consecutive title – averaging a finals record of 41 points per game during the six-game series against the Phoenix Suns. Jordan scored an average of 32.6 points per game and tied Wilt Chamberlain for the most consecutive scoring titles. That same year, Jordan led the league in steals for the third time, made it to the All-NBA First Team for the seventh time, and was awarded NBA All-Defensive First Team honors for the sixth time. It was a truly phenomenal year for the NBA, the Chicago Bulls, and of course, Jordan.

On the other side of the Atlantic however, it was also the year that KICKZ.COM was born, bringing basketball style and culture to Germany, and eventually the rest of Europe, in its own unique way. The OG retailer has been making the absolute most of its birthday celebrations by dropping coveted collaborations with Columbia, Champion, and K1X, to name a few.

The Air Jordan VIII Air Raid II "Tinker" is available exclusively at KICKZ.COM from December 1 prior to the global launch. Follow KICKZ.COM on Instagram for all the latest news on future drops.
