Earlier last week, Kanye West took to Instagram to share that he was living inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (!) to finish his upcoming album DONDA. Now, to the immense glee of fans across the globe, the rapper has shared a new release date for the record, complete with yet another listening party.

The album was previously set to release on July 27, but in true Kanye fashion, it was delayed. The rapper orchestrated a big listening party, running an excited audience through each of the tracks — many of them sounding more like demos than finished songs — and dropping some coveted merch. The most surprising feature on the album was undoubtedly Jay-Z, who joined Yeezy for a verse on the album's last song, "Guess Who's Going to Jail Tonight," and caused a social media frenzy.

On July 30, Kanye once again took to Instagram to share that the new DONDA release date will be August 5, with another album release event taking place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, kicking off at 9 p.m. EST. Tickets for the listening party will go live on Monday, August 2, at 10 a.m. EST through sites like TicketMaster, priced from $35 to $75.

Lastly, the new album's release event will surprisingly feature creative direction from Balenciaga's Demna Gvasalia. It's not clear what exactly Gvasalia will be offering input on — whether its merch or stage design — but Kanye was spotted at the designer's Haute Couture show earlier this year, so who knows what the two have been working on.

Stay tuned as any more information surfaces, and fingers crossed the album will actually be dropping this time.
