Apple has released a cleaning guide for its new titanium Apple Card, and while the all-white design looks super slick, you might want to think again before placing it in a leather wallet or in your jeans pocket.

The new cleaning instructions state that some fabrics, including leather and denim, could cause permanent coloration damage that can't be washed off. That means that if you want to keep your Apple Card looking pristine, you'll have to treat it a little more carefully than other credit cards.

Apple also says that you shouldn't put your card in direct contact with other credit cards or carry it loose in a bag or pocket as its pristine surface might get scratched. Additionally, placing it near a magnetic latch on a purse or bag could demagnetize the card's magnetic strip.

Should it get marked or stained, you'll have to wipe it down with with a isopropyl alcohol-dampened microfibre cloth. Of course, none of these cleaning suggestions (other than the magnetizing points) are reflective of the card's functionality, it's just a bit harder to flex your new card if it's grubby.
