Apple released its latest software update yesterday and in the process the tech giant might have given us an accidental look at its new Bluetooth earbuds, the Powerbeats 4 wireless earphones. MacRumors spotted the leak in the iOS 13.3.1 release. If legit, the next generation earphones could rival Apple's new AirPods.

Similarly to the Powerbeats 3, these earphones are expected to have superior sound quality and better battery life than the AirPods. What's more, if the leaked artwork is anything to go by, the design seems to feature a snug in-ear fit and connecting wire, which means they'll be much harder to lose than AirPods, too.

Check out the leaked design below.

MacRumors understands that the Powerbeats 4 will have the same H1 chip as AirPods, enabling improved connectivity and “Hey Siri” support, and will undercut the AirPods Pro price tag by $50 — putting them in an estimated $199 price bracket.

When will the Powerbeats 4 arrive? While nothing has been officially announced, when Apple made the same error last year, the PowerBeats Pro launched within days. Stay tuned for updates.
