Editor’s Notes: First seen splashing down Balenciaga's aquaplaned FW20 runway, the five-toed Balenciaga x Vibram collab has arrived on the label's website and at selected retailers, much to the joy of foot fetishists and high-fashion footwear aficionados alike.

The Five Toe collection includes two knitted "heels" in black and neon pink, along with two models more akin to the sock sneaker arriving in black, and "carmine red." The footwear is constructed from a combination of Balenciaga's recycled knits with Vibram's signature FiveFinger toe grooves, which allow for more movement and grip, should you want to take them rock-climbing.

It's not the first time we've seen a high-fashion shoe with full phalangeal dexterity, a similar Suicoke x Vibram collaboration dropped earlier this year in hi-top and low-top variations and was met with a divisive reaction.
