The UK's Big Weekend Festival is heading online this year and BBC Radio 1 is taking audiences into the homes of the world's biggest acts.

Whatever you're doing this weekend, “Get the radio on and you can experience a load of stuff from Big Weekends gone by, and some brand new festival performances,” said Radio 1 presenter, Greg James.

As well as virtual performances, some of the festival's most legendary sets will be revisited, including JAY-Z in 2012, A$AP Rocky in 2013, AJ Tracey in 2019, Nas in 2012, and Dave in 2019.

Tune in to the Radio 1 Stage, the Radio 1 Dance Stage, the 1Xtra Stage, and the BBC Music Introducing Stage this weekend to catch live performances by HAIM, Sean Paul, YUNGBLUD, Disclosure, The Black Madonna and Armand Van Helden.

On the Headliner Stage, iconic performances from Billie Eilish, Kings of Leon, Snoop Dogg, Stormzy, Rihanna, and Foo Fighters will be re-aired. The most memorable performances from Big Weekends past will air on Radio 1 and BBC Sounds, as well as BBC iPlayer.

The virtual festival kicks off this Friday, May 22. Check out the lineup and plan your big weekend.
