Editor’s Notes: Bodega is following last year's 997S with a new collaboration alongside New Balance. This time around, the Boston/Los Angeles retailer has worked on the brand's X-Racer sneaker, giving it an all-terrain makeover.

The X-Racer is inspired by the DIY culture of streetwear and sneakers — one that has always been around but has enjoyed increased popularity over the past few years. The sneaker features a mixed material upper that looks like it’s as ready for the trail as it is for the streets.

Bodega has created a range of co-branded apparel to complement the X-Racer, consisting of T-shirts, hoodies, track bottoms, and a zip cargo pocket-equipped vest and shorts. You can get a closer look at the collaboration below.

Additionally, Bodega has tapped some of the best DIY creatives in the community to produce an original piece using only the X-Racer and accompanying apparel collection. The seven creatives taking part are Shoe Surgeon, Kumanokoido, Jacob Rochester, Steph Morris, YEENJOY, Studio Hagel, and Greater Goods. These one-of-one pieces will be raffled off alongside the X-Racer release.

The raffle is live until Wednesday June 24, 2020 at 5pm EST. Sign up below.
