New Balance Turns a Pro Skate Shoe Into a Tasty "Breakfast" Flex
New Balance's Numeric line is back with another banger, a "Breakfast Tea" version of Franky Villani's 417 skate model.
Villani's pro signature shoe lands in this tan "Breakfast Tea" scheme, which has also appeared on Andrew Reynolds' New Balance Numeric 993 dad-shoe crossover. It looks just as delicious on the Villani shoe, almost like a brekkie biscuit in sneaker form. And stylish materials like suede, canvas, and mesh only enhance the tasteful look.
The New Balance Numeric 417 has the looks. But can it skate? Well, it's a pro shoe for a reason. It comes with several skate-focused touches, including a reinforced toe box with added protection, elastic inner straps for a flexible, secure fit, and ABZORB cushioning for comfort. It also has a herringbone outsole for reliable board grip.
The 417 has come in both low- and high-top versions, and both are just as stylish. Right now, the spotlight's on the OG High versions in this delicious "Breakfast Tea" look.
Speaking of which, the tan-colored Numeric 417 sneaker is now up for grabs on New Balance's website for $95. What a steal for such a tasty skate shoe.
