What We’re Saying: Bodega is celebrating its 15 anniversary with the release of a new Vans by Vault collaboration. The Boston-born retailer has reimagined the OG Style 36 LX — more commonly referred to as the Old Skool — by adding a touch of luxury to the everyday footwear favorite.

The Bodega x Vault by Vans OG Style 36 LX is inspired by the DIY nature of custom designer goods. Subsequently, the sneaker is predominantly crafted from premium fabrics, pairing black tumbled leather with buttery suede. Two different Jazz stripes brand the pair on the sides of the shoe, while additional design details include contrasting white stitching, a single tortoise shell eyelet on each eyestay, the Bodega logo embossed along the midsole, and a checkerboard leather tongue that serves as a nod to Louis Vuitton.

“The goal was to take a more timeless and elevated design approach while retaining the ethos that Bodega was built upon over the past 15 years, especially in relation to our partnership with Vans,” Bodega's Matt Zaremba said of the collaboration.

You can look for the luxe Bodega x Vault by Vans OG Style 36 LX to launch on April 2 exclusively at Bodega Boston and Bodega Los Angeles.
