Editor’s Notes: Italian footwear company Casbia has released an all-new silhouette, the Uniform F.D. The military-inspired model is a formal shoe that's for more than formalities, drawing from the full dress attire of military honor guards.
Casbia notes that the focal point of the Uniform F.D. is the cold-molded sole system. The custom, Casbia-designed outsole is made from a recycled polymer, featuring contrasting orange traction spikes and logo-print reinforcements.
Complementing the specially-designed sole unit is an Italian-made dress shoe upper. The Uniform F.D. takes the plain-toe oxford and imagines it through the lens of military footwear. The shoe also incorporates a custom puller and lacing system for quick adjustment.
