We don't need to tell you that 2020 has been unpredictable, with a global pandemic and political turmoil resulting in things most of us have never seen before. On the less serious, but still unpredictable, side of things, 2020 was the year Crocs became a coveted item. In tandem with celebrity endorsements from the likes of Justin Bieber, The Grateful Dead, and, erm, KFC, Croc prices have skyrocketed. Collabs with the clogs company now span an almost unbelievable range of names and brands. These impactful collaborations may have turned the spotlight on the humble rubber clog, but with some selling for $500, its a step too far for most for the holey footwear. Don’t despair, though, even Pharrell wears general-release Crocs, so if you’re looking to upgrade your rotation without dropping enough for a pair of luxury sneakers, stay tuned.
