Cristiano Ronaldo launched Nike’s “Living Room Cup” campaign on Sunday. The campaign aims to encourage people to stay active while staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Each week, a different Nike athlete will post a fitness challenge to their followers on social media, prompting them to beat their best.

For the first challenge, Ronaldo shared a 45 second ab workout, during which he completed 142 core crushers. Anyone wanting to participate in the challenge has one week to beat his score before Ronaldo passes the challenge on to another Nike athlete.

With this, Nike is playing on most peoples’ itch to stay active during self-isolation and injecting some healthy, friendly competition into the mix.

Nike will also make dedicated workouts available that will provide a slight competitive advantage to completing each week’s challenge via its Nike Training Club app.

Do you have what it takes to beat some of the world’s fittest athletes?
