Drake has announced that he's working on a new album. The rapper confirmed the news at the Toronto Raptors vs. Phoenix Suns basketball game last Friday.

While sitting courtside, Drake was interviewed by the commentary crew, where he discussed his plans for the project. "I'm out here, I'm working hard, you know. I'm tucked away trying to finish an album."

The Canadian rapper explained that his next album will be much shorter than Scorpion, and cited Notorious B.I.G's Life After Death as an inspiration. "With the last album, I went high volume. I did two sides, 20-something songs, which is a lot of songs. This album, I'll probably make it a more realistic offering, something more concise."

Apart from his new solo project, Drake is reportedly working on a new collab album with Future, What a Time to Be Alive 2. Listen to Drake's full comments below.
