Wood Wood

Big birthdays in the fashion industry have been stamped all over 2022. Sure, birthdays happen every year; what's the big deal? Well, some pretty big anniversaries have been celebrated throughout the summer, in a year that marks the 40th birthday of the New Balance 991, 35 years of the Air Max, and Daily Paper's first decade in the game.

In and amongst it all, WOOD WOOD has gone big for its 20th anniversary, pulling out all the stops, as you would. Perhaps the most momentous moment of its celebrations thus far was its adidas Forum collaboration, which came and went with pace.

Keeping pace with what's already been a year of substance, WOOD WOOD now looks to FW22 in celebration of its Danish design sensibilities, vibrance, and community-first collaborative spirit.

True to the collaborative spirit that has permeated through each seasonal collection, as well as a littering of capsules, FW22 brings Danish painter Tal R into the world of WOOD WOOD. A selection of his works have been adopted into the apparel selection, reworked, and applied to pieces like the Cowiogel cardigan, workwear-inspired denim, relaxed boilersuit for women, and a two-piece selection for men.

Beyond its collaborative efforts, the collection further evolves favored silhouettes and styles from previous offerings, pushing the technicality of outerwear and accessories to give them a more functional edge.

As is standard, the fabrication selection has also been expanded to include more seasonally appropriate wears while maintaining WOOD WOOD's eco-consciousness.

Keen eyes will find the first delivery of FW22 online and in WOOD WOOD's physical stores now.
