Asics

Brand: END. x ASICS

Model: GEL-Lyte 3 “Pearl”

Key Features: To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ASICS GEL-Lyte 3, END. has given the silhouette a pearl-inspired makeover. Hits of purple, white, and grey are a nod to the iridescent nature of pearls, which are traditionally given as a gift on 30th anniversaries (also known as a Pearl anniversary), due to their beauty and the fact that they take time to grow.

Release Date: October 17 (initial drop), October 23 (wider drop)

Price: $160 / €160

Buy: Select retailers such as Sneakersnstuff

Editor’s Notes: END.’s pearl-inspired GEL-Lyte 3 collaboration follows up the UK retailer’s wasabi-inspired project from 2018. The color-blocking on this year’s release is exquisite and reminds strongly of the model’s heyday in the early to mid 2010’s, when the GL3 was the most popular silhouette around.

The END. x ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 “Pearl” was released on Ocotober 17 through END. Launches, with a wider release following globally on October 23.
