Even Off-White's "Days Off" Are Beautiful
There are few places that understand luxury leisure quite like Marbella. Perched along Spain's southern coastline, the destination has long attracted an international crowd drawn by its unique combination of Mediterranean beauty, hospitality, and extravagance. Here, long lunches become sunset dinners, beach clubs operate as social hubs, and nobody seems particularly concerned about what day of the week it is. This is the place to be, and Off-White knows it.
For Summer 2026, the brand has taken over La Plage Casanis, one of Marbella's most sought-after beach clubs, transforming the venue into an immersive Off-White destination that will remain in place throughout the season. From the beach to the dining experience, the brand's visual identity is woven throughout the space, with its signature blue palette and iconic cross-arrow motif appearing on everything from towels and parasols to ice cubes floating in lagoon-blue cocktails.
With the slogan "Days Off," the collaboration encourages exactly that. On opening night, the experience began with an intimate dinner hosted directly on the sand. A long table stretched across the beach as glasses clinked and plates of mussels, lobster, wagyu, and sweet desserts made their way from one end to the other. As the sun dipped into the Mediterranean, conversation flowed as easily as the cocktails – I ordered a margarita and it arrived in a miniature Patrón bottle.
The evening captured the spirit of the collaboration: luxurious without feeling stiff. Increasingly, brands are looking beyond traditional retail and toward destinations where their customers already choose to spend their time. Hospitality, travel, and experiential environments have become extensions of brand identity, offering something that a flagship store or e-commerce platform cannot: presence. The most successful brands understand that creating a desirable product is only part of the equation. Creating a desirable world around that product is what drives cultural relevance.
Of course, Off-White didn't come to Marbella without the fashion. The brand has released an exclusive capsule collection comprising T-shirts, tops, and a selection of limited-edition seasonal pieces available exclusively at La Plage Casanis throughout the summer. Here, the clothes arrive with a Mediterranean backdrop, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking sunset. The clothes provide an entry point, but the experience is the destination.
As midnight approached, the evening slowly began to dissolve. Chairs emptied, final drinks were finished, and goodbye kisses were exchanged as guests disappeared into the Marbella night. It was the perfect cool down to the heat of the day—and the perfect way for Off-White’s summer fashion to leave its imprint both in the sand, and in our minds.
