Casio has teamed up with Transformers toymaker Takara Tomy for a special release in celebration of the 35th anniversary of G-SHOCK, as well as Transformers' 35th anniversary in 2019. The drop consists of an Optimus Prime toy figure with a G-SHOCK watch placed at his heart.

And while Optimus Prime serves as a display for the timepiece, you can of course wear the watch, which is based on G-SHOCK's DW6900-IV model. Per Casio, Optimus Prime can be transformed two ways: in upright robot mode or pedestal mode to show off the watch.

The DW6900-IV features the same red and blue color scheme as Optimus Prime, welcoming a Transformers logo on the display.

The Optimus Prime G-SHOCK is scheduled to release on December 8 for approximately $250.

In other news, the ‘Pokémon: Let’s Go’ Tamagotchi now has a release date. Follow here for more.
