Last month HBO finally announced an April 2019 premiere date for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. After getting a brief look at the upcoming set of episodes, now the network shares the first teaser for season eight.

We don't get much from the initial clip, however, which alludes to an epic battle between fire and ice. Nonetheless, press play above to watch the GoT season eight teaser, and be sure to check back with us for more surrounding the final six episodes, which are expected to be feature-length.
