Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is the face of a new generation of footballer that refuses to be defined by its ability on the pitch, but rather explores interests outside of the sport — most often fashion or music. What started as posting fit pics to his Instagram and being seen front row at Fashion Week has turned into more than just a hobby for Bellerin.

The player is a bonafide style icon in the footballing world and had a chance to prove it when he was tasked with styling the Arsenal Women’s team, who are outfitted by 424. The Los Angeles-based brand is also the outfitter of the men’s team, a deal that was announced earlier this season.

It’s the first time that Arsenal Women’s have had an official formalwear partner and the first time that both teams are outfitted by the same brand.

Bellerin, who also directed the shoot, said; “Arsenal has always been a club which pushes the boundaries. It was a pleasure to work on the shoot for the new suits and I’m proud to be part of a club that innovates and collaborates across all Arsenal teams.

Arsenal Women’s wore their 424 suits for the first time ahead of their FA WSL Cup final against Chelsea Women’s, which they won 2-1. Take a look at some photos from the shoot above.
