Editor's Notes:

Multi-hyphenate model, sportsman, and now designer Héctor Bellerín is making his mark in the apparel world. As one of the most fashion-forward footballers in the industry, Bellerín has in the past garnered a lot of attention for his clothing choices and trademark style - but now he’s taking matters into his own hands. The young Spaniard has collaborated with H&M Man to drop his capsule collection, Edition.

From being heavily involved in the design process to inputting graphics, print, colors, and silhouettes as well as styling some of the finished looks, it is obvious that Bellerín is just as skilled off the pitch as he is on it.

H&M claims the collection is made from organic cotton and recycled textiles such as nylon and polyester, which aligns with both Bellerín’s environmental values and H&M’s commitment to change. As a socially and environmentally outspoken activist, Bellerín isn’t afraid of reflecting his beliefs and ideas in what he does, and this collection encapsulates just that. Where possible, he was keen for pieces to be made from single materials to make them easier to recycle.

Echoing his own signature style, Edition teems with playful graphics, authentic oversized silhouettes, and updates on timeless but utilitarian men’s staples. From muted earth tones and simple cuts to resort shirts and positive slogans, the collection is the outcome of Bellerín's desire for a fresh approach to spring style. Edition is a testament to Bellerín's longstanding aspiration for a better future for not just fashion but the planet too.

You can get your hands on the collection at select H&M stores and also online here.
