Japanese label HYKE took to the runways of Tokyo Fashion Week to debut a new installment of its ongoing collaboration with The North Face. The duo picked up where their FW18 collection left off, with some wild fashion pieces that would never, ever make their way into a typical TNF collection.
Key pieces include ponchos, sock-like sneakers, some Issey Miyake-style pleated TNF skirts, funnel-necked anoraks and the oxymoronic contraption in #13, which seems designed to protect only the wearer's solar plexus and arms from the elements.
Alongside the pieces made in collaboration with TNF, HYKE also took the chance to debut some pieces from its mainline, including back-to-front shirts and denim jackets and pouffy-sleeved dressed.
In other Asian fashion news, D-Antidote just showed neon-hued sportswear on the runways of Seoul Fashion Week.
